Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Specialist to lead end-to-end talent acquisition for critical and strategic roles. This role partners closely with business leaders to design and execute recruitment strategies, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent while maintaining compliance with South African employment legislation, including BCEA, Employment Equity (EE), and POPIA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for senior, technical, and hard-to-fill roles.
• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce planning needs and provide market insights.
• Develop proactive talent sourcing strategies, including headhunting and talent mapping.
• Ensure recruitment practices support Employment Equity objectives and transformation targets.
• Conduct structured assessments and facilitate fair, unbiased selection decisions.
• Manage employment offers, negotiations, and pre-employment checks in compliance with BCEA and POPIA.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, produce analytics, and report on key metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, EE compliance).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years recruitment experience, including senior-level or niche role hiring.
• Deep understanding of South African employment legislation: BCEA, EE, POPIA.
• Proven experience in talent acquisition for strategic or specialized roles.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience with ATS, HR analytics, and reporting.
• Strong own sourcing network
